What is CEF? Church
Extension
Fund accounts are set up by fellow believers who serve
their Lord by depositing a portion of their savings to assist others
while earning interest on your investment.
Why?
Proceeds of the fund permit congregations to receive lower-cost
financing
for important and
necessary work through mortgages, loans, grants and funding.

If
your congregation has a CEF loan, your CEF investments can reduce
the interest rate for that loan !!
Your
deposits don't have to be large amounts. Just like many hands make
light work, so too, a few dollars from many people make God's kingdom

Gifts To The
Church:
If you prefer to donate accrued
interest to the church, ask for your investment to be "Interest Free" as many before you have
done.

K.I.D.S. - Kids
Into Discipleship
& Stewardship:

Providing kids a fun way to learn about
discipleship, stewardship, and saving money while helping to build
churches through the East District's CEF. K.I.D.S. was developed to
modernize and replace the current "Tracky Stamp" program.
Pass-Book Savings:
Deposits can be made in any amount.
This account allows flexibility in making
deposits and withdrawals anytime.
Notes/Certificates:
Promissory Note deposits ($1000 min.) are held for
one, three or five year terms.
At maturity, the initial investment
plus interest may be redeemed or reinvested for another
term. Upon request a cheque for the interest can be forwarded and the
principal reinvested. If redeemed, the original certificate must
accompany your request to close out
the account.
