District Liaison Letter:
District Liaisons are the visible flesh-and-blood link between the District and God’s people in congregations. A periodic communiqué provides specific information that liaisons share with their congregation through congregational newsletters, bulletins, and minute-man talks during meetings, Bible classes, or after worship services. The District Liaison is the lay delegate who represented their congregation at the LCC, East District convention (or a designate). A delegate remains in office until the subsequent regular convention (Handbook 2.28, p. 24).
