Not Burrs -
This e-bulletin is on hold.
12/15/09 Hebrews 10 urges us
to "consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good
deeds." This isn't intended to be a "burr under your saddle" but to
offer encouragement and possible inspiration. These will come in the
form of suggestions, resources, quotations (some from you, too)
which fall under the broad headings of "inreach" and "outreach."

Liaison Letter:
District
Liaisons are the visible flesh-and-blood link between the
District and God’s people in congregations. A periodic
communiqué provides specific information that liaisons share
with their congregation through congregational
newsletters, bulletins, and minute-man talks during meetings,
Bible classes, or after worship services. The Liaison is the
lay delegate (or a designate) who represented their congregation
at the LCC, East District convention. A delegate
remains in office until the subsequent regular convention (Handbook
2.28, p. 24).
More about the New Orleans mission trip described in the
2007 July/August edition
of The Canadian Lutheran.
