Hebrews 10 urges us
to "consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good
deeds." This isn't intended to be a "burr under your saddle" but to
offer encouragement and possible inspiration. These will come in the
form of suggestions, resources, quotations (some from you, too)
which fall under the broad headings of "inreach" and "outreach."
Please feel free to share this with your members. Your comments,
suggestions, and constructive criticisms are welcome as well.

In the Nov 6 edition of Spurs
Not Burrs I gave what was implied to be
an endorsement to "Operation Christmas Child." It has been brought
to my attention that this project is run by the Franklin Graham
organization and that each gift box includes tracts which promote
"decision theology." Since we clearly are instructed by Article VI
of our LCC Constitution that we should not participate in "heterodox
tract and missionary activities," I have been requested to retract
